OUR Beer philosophy
If we don’t love something we brew, you’ll never know.
Beer sets its own schedule, we just control the quality. Some only take a week, while others can take months or years. Whether it is a pale ale, peanut butter and jelly sandwich inspired brown ale, or a barrel-aged wild sour that has aged for years, if it isn’t wonderful, it will never cross our counter.
Our Beers
We love all beers and don’t discriminate
Pale Ale
Ivy Branch Pale Ale-
This light and crushable American pale ale is brewed with 2-row, caramel malts, and Citra hops. The California ale yeast accentuates the fruity hop flavor and aroma. Our flagship pale ale comes in at a respectable 4.7% ABV and pairs well with just about anything. It’s simple yet sophisticated. The name Ivy Branch was derived from one of the tributaries that feed into the Gasper River in northern Warren County.
Stout
Straight Six Stout
Our dark, full-bodied stout begins with copious amounts of roasted and caramel malted barley delicately balanced to provide a drinking experience that isn’t too sweet or too bitter. Our American stout is deceptively drinkable at 6.1% and is sure to please the masses. Straight Six pays homage to the inline six-cylinder engine used in many of the Nash Automobile cars that were sold and serviced right here in our building.
IPA
Sally’s Rock NEIPA
With just the right amount of hops, oatmeal, and caramel malts, this IPA starts out crisp and piney. After dry hopping with copious amounts of Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc hops, the resulting beer is a hazy and fruity New England style IPA. The name Sally’s Rock comes from the large rock at the confluence of the Gasper and Barren rivers. In the early 1900’s, the local postmasters’ daughter, Sally Beck, would stand on the rock and shout the news of the day to the passing barges.
Brown Ale
Downtown Brown
This malty, full-bodied brown ale comes in at 6.1% ABV. Caramel malts lend a-rockin’ subtle sweetness that gives the beer an easy-drinking quality. Gasper Brewing Co. Downtown Brown is also the base beer for some of our upcoming variants including Uncle Mike’s Downtown Brown, Apricot Downtown Brown, and our After School Smack series of Peanut Butter and Jelly Brown ales.
Belgian wit
Wit Oat a Paddle
This light and crispy Belgian wit is true to style. Willamette hops, orange peel, and coriander offer fruit notes and floral aromas. The name is a nod to the cold, refreshing beer you crave as you paddle down your favorite river on a hot summer day.
